A couple of questions about the horizontal stab front spar attach brackets…

1. What’s the best technique to locate the 1/8” hole in both brackets so that they are identically spaced from the base of the bracket so that the stab is horizontal when installed?

2. These brackets look like they are good candidates for CNC machines. Has anyone gone that route and/or are they available from a vendor?

1. After you’ve made them - drill one per plans then clamp them back to back and match drill.

2. Each to their own. But in the time it would take to cad draft/email/call/price/mail/unpack etc you could probably make a few sets. It’s a straight forward part. Good to practice on the cheap easy bits early on.
