GTX335 Avionics Master

Just wondering if anyone has noticed a problem with the GTX335 powering up intermittently with avionics master switch. Seems like it won't work the first time I turn the master on but if I shut it down and power up again it will work. I'm wondering if it is because I didn't wire in the keep alive?

The keep alive is just for the GPS. Wiring it keeps the GPS live to reduce the initial acquisition time before flight.

Do you have both pins 38 (power control) and 59 (power config) connected to ground?
