GT Propellers (Italy)

Does anyone here have any opinion on GT Propellers from Italy? I am looking for a propeller for my RV6A

Send a DM to @flyboykelly.

I believe it was a GT he put on his cooler than sh!t, one of a kind, awesome as f#$!, radial engine RV8. Got a chance to give it a look in person. He claimed it governed better than any hyd controlled prop he'd ever flown behind, IIRC.

He doesn't post here anymore as far as I know. Got tired of the bias. That said, he'd be a great source. I believe his prop was custom engineered for his application.

Hello all, I work with GT on a weekly basis as I am assisting in several special projects. 60% B-17 and a 60% P-47 using the Verner engines. They are making custom designed props for both those projects. You will really like their propellers on the RV. Contact Alex, [email protected].

I'm currently in talks with them to try and get a few over here. What are you looking for? Constant speed?
I just got in touch with them yesterday. I need a GA propeller for my RV6A. I am trying to get some information about the company and their after sales support.

I have a 3 blade ground adjustable GT prop for sale. Has maybe 20 hours on it, in perfect shape. I put it on my Glastar, not the right prop for a slow heavy plane. I think it’d be perfect on a rv. Shoot me a pm if you want more info.

I have tried a GT propeller constant speed on a Hartzell hub and a Hartzell CS on my RV7.
I have no hard data regarding any differences, but subjective I can't actually see or feel any large differences between the two.
I fly both out from 3000 ft asphalt runways and 1500 ft grass strips.
Alex's propeller is beautiful painted with scheme corresponding to the aircraft.
The difference in cost is in my opinion not motivated if not metal is a big concern.
