Wonderful! Get started and keep going. Don't be like the two thirds of Vans RV builders who fizzle out and end up with a dust bin of aluminum parts that will never be a flying airplane. Be sure you have priced in the tail end costs: engine/prop/avionics etc.

Congratulations - it is a great design from our business partner, Ken Krueger, former chief engineer at Van's. It is the second most common type for which we ship wheel and empennage fairings every month, especially to the UK. Here is a recent completion, Larry Eversmeyer of OKC who upgraded from 5.00-5 to 6.00-6 Matco wheels and chose our carbon wheel fairings with air doors for them. Looks great, doesn't it? Larry, too!

Will keep my fingers crossed! So far my track record is pretty good, having built and flown my previous 5 kit airplanes!
