GMU22 fuselage bracket installation

I just installed Steinair’s GMU22 fuselage bracket in the location that They recommend. I’m concerned that the installation will have to much movement, as the rib it is attached to can flex very easily. Does anyone have any experience with this installation? Did you do anything to strengthen it?

I had the same concern as you did so I added a couple of brackets to give it some rigidity. I’m close to the first flight so it hasn’t been flight tested yet but much more sturdy than without.

Same here. Here’s what I did and it works fine in flight.

Thanks for the ideas. I think I’ll probably attach a brace to the center stiffener.
