Gear fairings and wheel pants

So I flew for the first time today with all of my gear and wheel fairings on am I'm happy with the results. I flew a triangular course at 8500 and 9500 ft and averaged 161 kts TAS on 11.5 GPH, 2400 RPM. Not scientific in the least, but I'm pleased. As a bonus my high #6 CHT was a non-Issue even in climb. Of course the OAT was about 20 degrees F lower than the last time I flew so I'm not declaring victory quite yet, but the results are encouraging.

I won't lie -- the wheel pants were a royal pain in the butt to install. The leg fairings were actually pretty easy other than having to work under the airplane which for my tired old body wasn't something I enjoyed. YMMV. ....

Oh and I think the plane looks way better now, and we all know that's what really makes it go fast.:D:p
