Gascolator Bowl

Before I break something, could someone tell me if the RV-12 gascolator bowl is attached to its housing via "threads" or is it merely a tight fit with an O-ring for sealing. My virgin gascolator bowl does not appear to want to easily separate from its housing and I don't want to force it off in the wrong manner! I'm guessing that it is a tight fit with O-ring. Hmmmmm -

After removing the 4 screws, it might take a slight tap with a wood handle of a hammer maybe first time.

After removing the 4 screws, wiggle it and pull straight down. There is ONLY an o-ring.

I started my annual yesterday and cleaned my gasolator and screen. It was clean as a whistle!
