Garmin Pilot Echo UAT

I am giving Garmin Pilot a shot, (have always used IFly) has anyone been able to get ADS-B - Weather from Echo UAT / Skyfx into Garmin Pilot?

I've got a feeling that you'll have to use a Garmin product like at a minimum the GDL-39. I think the only Garmin app that can use anything NOT Garmin related is FlightPlan Go and only because Garmin bought it after they had been a successful app and didn't want to make current users mad. It'll accept any signal from the GDL-39 to the Stratux kit.

Donaven,

I use the Echo UAT and installed a trial version of Garmin Pilot today. Pilot looks for ADS-B devices over Bluetooth, but the Echo uses WiFi so it doesn't even come up in the list of selectable devices.

However, the Echo does communicate nicely with Avare over its WiFi connection.

Regards,
Rob
