Garmin GHA 15 radar altimeter for G3X

For mounting the GHA between the main gear, I understand the best place to connect to the CAN buss is at the autopilot pitch servo.
Any suggestions on the best place to connect to the power source?

I took the power off of the AP servo. Its milliwatts, so there was no danger in accidentally tripping that circuit.

It may be easier to extend the CAN bus at the end.. so at the GMU11 magnetometer.. remove the bus terminator... have a branch that connects the GMU11.. then extend the bus a few feet and run it to the GHA15. Someone, sorry I forget whom, mentioned that Stein was putting together a plug-n-play harness to do exactly that.. not sure of the status of that project. Just don't forget to terminate the bus at the GHA15 in that case then.
