G3X Touch Academy
Daily training topics on alternating days (M/W/F) and (T/Th/S) covering items like Wiring and Data Buses, Engine Indication Configuration Basics, G3X Touch Display Intro for Pilots, Finding Answers in Garmin Documents, Initial Configuration of Your G3X Touch EFIS, and In-Flight Scenario-Based Training. There is also a daily Garmin Team X: Tips for Building Your Experimental Panel overview for those new to the G3X Touch system and components. The training events and seminars will be taking place in Seminar Tents 1 and 2, right south of the main Garmin exhibit.
Database Updates
We will be offering database update subscriptions directly from the Garmin exhibit, with discounts available! You will need to have an active FlyGarmin account, along with system ID information provided for your panel-mounted units.
Meet and Greet Garmin Ambassadors
Garmin ambassador partners Chris Palmer (Angle of Attack), Erin and Paul (ErinandPaulFly), Max Weldon (CitationMax), Stevie Triesenberg (Bayflight), Josh Flowers (Aviation101), Chelsea Smith (HighMaintenance_Chels), Trent Palmer (TrentonPalmer), and Mike and Mark Patey will be hosting a series of get-acquainted opportunities throughout the week. NEW! Garmin is helping you get to AirVenture! The FISK VFR arrival is now available for Garmin avionics and in Garmin Pilot using SmartCharts! Reduce your workload by loading the procedure directly into your avionics and follow along with the interactive Garmin SmartChart. To get the arrival, make sure you have database cycle 2507 or purchase the Garmin Navigation Database at flyGarmin.com. Also, the entire NOTAM can be viewed in the Oshkosh Airport Chart page or downloaded in Documents (select “Event NOTAMS” in Documents).
