Garmin 345D diversity coax antenna cabling

Can anyone who has installed one of these units describe how the coax cabling to the two antennas works?
Is it 2 cables to splitter to single run to the unit?
Individual cables back to the unit?
Some sort of switch between the 2 antennas?
Big black secret - searching Garmin manuals & web searchs for examples gives me nothing

2 antennas, 2 coax's (top/bottom) back to the unit.
