Gaggle to the launch

6 RV’s launched out of Fort Myers Page today at approximately 5:30. Heading north east we were all excited about the Artemis launch hoping it would go today. We weren’t disappointed. It was awe inspiring to watch the rocket knowing we are going back to the moon.
It was emotional for me, I was 8 years old when I got to see Apollo 8 launch to the moon. Little did I know I’d have to wait another 50 plus years to watch another moon launch. It was an amazing day and a proud day for NASA and America.

The thing that I remember most about Apollo 11 was a conversation I had with my grandmother about the moon landing. She reminded me that when she was my age at the time, humans hadn't even flown in a powered airplane.

My father worked for NASA back in the Apollo days... worked on the controls for the Saturn V and the LRV to name a few... he has some really cool stories
