So... I realize this is not the purpose of the GAD 27, but... I have this expensive box that I'm using for Flaps, Pitch Trim and Lights but...
I'm not using the Roll or Yaw Trim as they are ground adjustable tabs. Could I use this for a switched output like a Smoke pump? My plan would be to connect the smoke switch to the Roll Trim Up input on the GAD 27. Then run the smoke pump from the Roll Trim Outputs (with power to the Roll Trim Power Inputs). My smoke pump uses less than 3A, so this is within the limits of the trim output.
1. Any reason this wouldn't work? Anyone done something similar?
2. Can I disable the runaway trim limit, or set to a suitably large number like 2 minutes? (I'm not doing aerobatic shows, so don't need it on super long)
3. Can I show an annunciator that it's on?
