G3X Touch Heading bug sync on control stick button?

Don't get button happy! The relevant phrase is that buttons have to earn their way onto the stick. Two standard criteria are for things that are used a lot (like elevator trim) or are needed in a hurry, like push to transmit.
Based on 600 hours in my glass cockpit, heading sync would definitely not qualify.

Yeah, I get that. 
Critical functions are most important. I'll have flaps, PTT, a/p CWS/disconnect, elevator trim on it for sure. Leaves me 1 button I could set up for some other function. I don't need any radio or txpdr functions on it like swapping freqs or radios and ident. In my 8000 hours or so flying glass cockpits, I personally find myself reaching to sync the heading bug frequently.
Whether, or not, it's a good idea is not my question. Can it be done is the question.
