G3X engine sensor wiring

Ordered the G3X engine sensor kit for my RV9A before mounting the engine. I want to wire up the thing prior to closing up the top of the fuselage skin. Does anyone have a location for the locations of firewall penetrations for the sensor wiring?

I am building a 7, but they are similar. I have two Avery firewall pass throughs, one on each side quadrant. I am running all the sensor wires out the left side and will be using the right for power wiring. I have not completely decided about antenna, but it will likely be on the right. I will get some picts and post for you to see, and flyers to critique. (later on picts)

YMMV, but I mounted the engine to the mount frame then to the firewall to see if the locations would work. I have since removed it to complete other work before reinstallation. With a way to tilt he engine (maintain it level), install and removal of the engine/mount is pretty quick and easy, even solo.

One more thing, I found that the MAN P sensor fits nicely in the manifold on the left side, but will need a custom hose to reach the #3 cylinder intake port. I will be getting mine from TSFlightlines. Tom already send some fittings etc for measurements. Your distances will be different if you have a 320.

Like Bill said, 1 pass through above and inboard of the top engine mount bolt on each side should work. I went cheap and bought some conduit passthroughs from Home Depot for wiring and control cables for less than $1 a piece. I added a .063 doubler to the firewall, removed the screws sealed internally with the 3m firestop and wrapped the outside with fire sleeve. I ended up adding a passthrough in the middle to keep the sd8 aux alt regulator/relay/capacity behind the firewall, and a separate passthrough for the electronic ignition. 2 passthroughs was plenty for G3X sensors and power wires but keeping the sensor wires separate helps eliminate issues later so I'm told.
Pic of the fat 7/8 passthrough for EI.

Wiring runs from passthrough along top of engine mount tubes to both sides of engine.

5/8 passthrough for g3X engine sensor harness.
