I installed the fuel vent from the back top of the tank, through the baggage wall, then down and out the belly. It also has the ?T? with the small tube to the rivet like a static port. I also have my original vented cap installed.
I notice a fuel odor and more when I?m near the vent area. If I get down close to the vent on the belly I can really smell gas. I recall another comment another builder posted about adding the vent and his wife commenting she could smell gas in their home as the hangar and home were attached.
