With the Rotax fuel filters on back order, has anyone tried or have an opinion on the Bosch filters that seem to have the same dimensions in every regard.

Has Lockwood weighed in on this?

I’m closing on 600 hrs and have used the Bosch since the first replacement, with no issues.

The filter appears to be in stock at Motive Aero.

Always worth keeping in mind that there is Rotax support outside of Lockwood.

I was unaware of Motive aero. They appear to have filters in stock.

You've been a big help and I'll defer a decision about using automotive parts for now.

I've been running the Bosch F5021 for almost 1000 hours; about 2 years on ONLY 100LL, and 2 years on Mogas. I've seen no issues and no difference in fuel pressure readings. I also recently pulled out all my fuel injectors for testing/cleaning and found that they were all clean.
