Bought new and has been mostly on the shelf as a back-up. I have used it a few times so can't say that it is new but it is pristine. The Zulu 3 fits me better so that has been my primary headset. ANR on the Bose and the Zulu are about the same. I do prefer the Kevlar cord on the Zulu 3 but the Bose cord is also very durable although not as flexible.
