He chatted with my wife and me several times at Oshkosh 2 years or so ago. I really didn't know who I was talking with until he told me about crossing the Atlantic in his -8 to get there! Super nice guy.

In many ways.
I salute your high standard in flying, its planning and preparation. You make it look easy…
Herman, as a repeat offender, it can make it simpler but it still doesn’t diminish its acheivement.
On top of it all, the video editing is superb.
A feast for the eyes.

At Oshkosh this year, Herman stopped by my plane on the “island” in HBC. In spite of his truly impressive and lengthy travel stories he spent time asking about me and my airplane. A true Gentleman and Adventurer! Good stuff!
