fresh air vent

the factory set up of a bolt and locknut does not work for long on my vent. the nut loosens up. does anyone have a better set up?

This wouldn't work on a -12 but I've wondered if there was any possibility of adding an additional vent door down by the rudder pedals. The existing vent door works fine for me and I added a small zip tie to have a loop for my fingertip to pull it closed, if necessary, in flight.

Maybe add a wave washer to provide uniform tension. Wave washers are curved, spring-like fasteners designed to maintain tension, absorb vibration, and reduce rattle in assemblies by providing a consistent axial preload.
