Foreflight Scout

Has any one tried to use the Foreflight Scout in the RV-12? I am installing the Dynon 2020 GPS to go with the already installed Mode S transponder to give me ADS-B out. Talking with Dynon today, they are working on improving the Dynon ADS-B IN receiver and have withdrawn it from sales for a month or so. Given I will have ADS-B out, I wonder if the reception of the ADS-B in signal is adequate given there is no external antenna on the belly for the Scout?
