The Mach Loop (or Machynlleth Loop) is a world-renowned, low-level military flight training area in Mid-Wales, UK. It consists of a series of valleys between Dolgellau and Machynlleth where fast jets from the RAF and international air forces fly as low as 100–250 feet, making it a premier spot for aviation photography and plane spotting.

Lovely video, well done and thanks for sharing. It looks like it was a stunning day, but it must have been a cold morning. It must have been great to get the inner strike pilot in you all fired up.

Great rego. You obviously have a NZ connection and know the meaning behind it. Excellent choice.

Thanks planenutz, yes it was a great day, a break in some really awful weather we have been having. Im a NZ citizen, learnt to fly at Canterbury Aero club in 1993.
Love the meaning behind the KORU 😊

Nice! I've flown the Mach loop many times - at speeds a bit faster than an RV ;) However, I'd love to fly my RV-8 through there for old times sake!
