Fly Cutter....

Don't know quite what to say-
The diameter of the hole will be pretty much twice the radius; the radius is determined by the measurement from the centerline of the drill bit to the outside edge of the cutter. I don't think too many builders would use a fly cutter for holes only 3/4" diameter. Unibits and punches work much better here.

It was supposed to be a 1" lightening hole, others have used a fly cutter... so I tried to do the same. But I'm settling for 3/4". And nobody will EVER know!!! MUAHAHAHA! :D

...but I use the General "economy" one when possible.

It will go down to 7/8 inch, and since it is lighter, there is less unbalance when using it.

Easily obtainable from your favorite hardware store....:)
