FlightAware flights not showing up

So I recently moved from Durango Colorado to Prineville Oregon. Around Durango my flights always showed up quite complete on Flightaware. Since moving out here, I consistently get dropped off their flight track in most cases. However, when I run a PAPR for the flight, it shows no errors, and the length of flight and altitudes seem spot on.
My altitudes have lately varied from 3600' to 11,500'.
Anyone have any idea what might be going on?

Flightaware relies on volunteers who set up ADS-B receivers to feed it data. According to their official coverage map, there aren't many in your area, so here's your chance to set one up! It's pretty easy to do, all the information is on their website.

I found that using different ADIS-B sites some have more info than others in the past but now they all seem to have about the same history. Try out https://globe.adsbexchange.com/. It takes a bit to figure it out but it has a complete history function where you can "replay" all air traffic in the past. You can play back an entire flight and it will also show you all the other traffic. You can also filter traffic so you can filter by Type Code - say "RV" and it will show you all RVs flying in the US or your zoomed in area. To your original question I don't know if this would have better tracking or the same as Flightaware but the ability to play back an entire flight and all the traffic around you is pretty cool. Along the filters, you can waste quite a bit of time on the site.

That is a cool site.....and I've already wasted some time on it. 🤣 Thanks for the tip.

So, that might mean that Vector Airport Systems can't collect landing fees in you area! 😆
