Man those flaperon skins are thin! I was introducing a few of my wife's college friends to the joys of riveting when the flaperon was accidentally knocked off the bench onto the floor (maybe 3 foot drop). The end result was 3 creases in the aft skins that could not be fixed. The drop wasn't that bad, i'm really surprised the skins were not a little sturdier. Also the trailing ribs (A-1205) only get 3(4?) rivets, that doesn't seem like enough.
Just bitching, don't expect a response LOL. Man it was a pain drilling out all those rivets (needed to replace 5 1205 also, removing the aft rivet messed up more than one hole...)
