First Flight

After 21 months building my QB RV10 it made its first flight this past weekend. No squawks, she flew straight with the ball centered and no heavy wing and no aileron trim required. It is significantly different than the RV8 but still handles like an RV. 24 squared at 2500 feet with no pants provided 155 knots.

Way to go Pat. There are more bells and whistles on that thing than a 747. Have a great phase 1. It will take that long to get comfortable with everything. On my first flight in the 7, I was only getting 145 with no gear legs fairings or wheel pants.

Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ah yes, wonderful feeling that first flight:D

Glad to hear of your triumph.

Congrats!

Way to go Pat! Can't wait til you and Eloise can fly it over to Hicks to show it off! Have fun getting the Phase 1 completed!

Thanks for all the support, The 10 is flying perfectly again this weekend. Time to get the pants and fairings on it and take it to Grady for paint after the time is flown off.
