Friday was a beautiful day for an Airworthiness Inspection and a First (and second) Flight in my new RV-12iS!

She flies as expected with no squawks.

She's naked now, but by the end of next month she'll be sporting a beautiful John Stahr paint job that we'll shoot in my hangar. Pictures coming in October.

Keep pounding (and pulling) those rivets and get 'er done!

Congratulations
These posts remind me of my first flights and the many emotions that occur! Thanks for posting and enjoy Phase 1!

Congratulations Tony!

Congratulations, Tony! I'm right behind you. Should have my new RV12iS flying within a month.
That's great news. I would of had mine done in the spring and flew it to Oshkosh, but I worked from December till June finishing a different RV-12iS for someone else, and he flew his to Oshkosh.

Hopefully I get to build another 12 for someone else before I start on the RV-15. I like building RV-12s!

Congratulations Tony. Seems like the EAA meeting in your hangar was only a couple of months ago with the fuselage not yet finished. Can’t wait to see the design for that John Stahr paint job. I’m sure it will be interesting :)

Congratulations, Tony! There's more than one RV-12 builder who's delayed you finishing your own bird, as you've taken your "retirement" time to trouble-shoot our problems. Happy landings!
