As someone who is very interested in flying wings and currently developing a single-seater wing myself, I have to ask:
Any relation to Al Backstrom?
(Recall that the RV-2 was going to be basically a higher-aspect-ratio Backstrom "Flying Plank", very similar to the EPB-1C).
In any case: Congratulations! From a fellow RV-12 pilot (who has not built one... yet...)

I bet you are as excited as I was on my first flight! If you get to the mid Michigan area, come on by KTEW to see a bunch or RV's and get some lunch! Have fun with that thing!!
