First family flight KMCD

Although I took a long cross country to sun n fun this year before I wanted to take anyone, now they and I have the confidence for family travel. This trip was a day run to kmcd, Mackinac Island, mi with two grandkids. Only a little over 100 miles was a pretty quick hop and nice to share it with others, their first time there. A nice destination for any fliers looking for a different experience with no motorized vehicles, horse and buggy travel, bicycles and rentals available. Great history there, quaint town, 8 mile bike ride around the island. Just FYI

I've been there a few times, nothing like shutting the engine down to complete silence.
I thought about going there yesterday. Was it busy?

No not at all which surprised me, i expected a busy day so wanted to leave early to get there but wasn't necessary. Found out though that i could only fit one of our folding bikes, which i could fit two in the rv6.
