Fire Extinguisher Fit

I haven't gotten to installing my Classic Aero seats yet. Trying to figure out the best location for a small fire extinguisher. I've looked through a bunch of threads and seen that on the floor in front of the fuel selector is a pretty common location. Is there enough room for the extinguisher in between the seats, or does that just make a small cockpit smaller? Without seats in to measure, I can't tell. If it fits, I'm thinking a 3D printed box/armrest to cover it might finish it off (cover just set over it, not attached in any way).

This one is slightly smaller Amerex A384T and somehow has a higher capacity and slightly lower cost. Also fits in a Aerosport center console with 2 Bose headset controllers.

Just another option, this is what I have in my RV-6. Hope I never need to use it inflight as a last resort. I carry it primarily for a refueling fire.

This is a good post for advantages and disadvantages of all types if extinguishers. The Element looked interesting but not for use in flight or at least discouraged. I went with Halon in my airframes. With an oxygen system hopefully can breathe if needed.

Small Halon between the seats - RV6. Yes, it has manual flaps (the most dependable kind), and manual roll trim (not needed much, but works great).

Mine fits perfectly standing up between the seat backs. That leaves the space between the seat bottoms for "storage".

Mine was standing up between the seats. Secure, but I find water bottles fit perfectly in that spot, so I moved it to the other side of the flap motor housing in the baggage compartment. Up high so its still pretty accessible. A little care when loading bags is prudent. bwagner's setup is also slick, though access is a bit tight in an emergency.
