Does anybody know what the horizontal field-of-view angle requirement is for mounting a Garmin GPS (like the GPS 175?). On an installation video I saw a diagram that showed 35 degrees (between the line looking straight ahead and the line looking to the right to the display), but the video said to consult the installation manual. I cannot find this specified in installation manual itself. My installation will have about 25 degrees off to the right. It's a small display on the GPS-175 but I'm hoping I'll be able to manage it in that location on the radio stack. Vertically, it will be near the top.
