F-01234 missing holes?!?

Oh boy, I’ve finally fitted and installed the Longerons and side skins, and while looking ahead, noticed my F-01234 canopy decks are missing holes on the sides for the roll bar support assembly!?! I see no instructions for match drilling them, and I’m worried about aligning the roll bar support…

Anyone else see this?

I think it’s an old version of the F-01234 that the original model 12 used, as it did not have the F-01254A’s. I guess I can do my best and match drill them. ��

The earlier kits didn't have those holes. Vans added the side reinforcing plates to the kits after a number of builders come up with their own versions to stiffen the roll bar support. I would just match drill the holes.

I ran into the same problem yesterday but with a twist. The right canopy deck was missing the same holes, but the left canopy deck had them. I just match-drilled the right side since there was a single #30 hole for the very front of the triangular gusset that I could cleco to the canopy support deck in order to get it aligned correctly.
