EZ-out Console Mounting RV-14A

I purchased EZ-out console for my 14A.

I was wondering if any other -14 owners have done so how they mounted it to the center tunnel area. The bottom in recessed and does not sit flat against the tunnel for securing to the floor.

Any ideas on how to secure or pics of yours mounted would be helpful.

Only mounts to flap motor cover

The unit fits great. It is very secure using 3-4 screws into the flap motor cover. No mounting through floor . . .

the front part of mine seemed a bit wobbly side to side so I put a nutplate in the floor to help it stay put when people lean against it etc.. needed a 2in long screw and a bit of stiffening.

Wound up taking it out anyway. It just seemed to make things more cramped
