Eye Ball Vents in an Aerosport overhead console?

So I'm toying around with 3D printing or buying the cheap eyeball vents for the aerosport overhead console. I do have the NACA valve vent kit so that can throttle the air. Do I need to spend $200 for the aluminum vents? I have the aluminum vents in my 9A and love them - and will do those on the panel of the 10 - just looking for input for the overhead. Fire away!!!

Depends on your personal level of OCD. Are you going to notice the console doesn't match panel every time you get in the plane? haha

Front and rear NACA vents. 2 lower front Panel aluminum eyeballs and 4 in upper Aerosport center console, 2 for pilot/copilot and 2 in rear for passengers. panel mounted switch controls air valve to rear eyeballs. Easy choice for me.

I went for the aluminum vents. I think that the overhead console is too nice to adorn with cheap vents.
But I initially balked at the servo NACA vent setup. Combination of price and too hard to deal with AS from down under.
After flying for a few years I installed an automotive lightweight heater valve servo on the scat in the rear tunnel feeding the overhead. Cheap and light.
