External lock recommendations for tip-up canopy

I'm a new RV6 owner with a tip-up canopy. How are you securing the cockpit when parked at the ramp and will be gone for a few hrs? What are folks using for external canopy locks? Photos?

A cheap luggage lock. You want a thief to just break the lock rather than smash your canopy. Only keeps lookins-peepers outside.

I drilled a hole in the locking tab that protrudes from the exterior of the fuse when the canopy is closed and insert a small, low-grade padlock. This prevents the canopy from being opened by those who are curious but is easily cut by someone who is determined to enter the RV. As stated above, a cut cheap lock is far better than a shattered canopy......
