Are you talking about D-Sub pins? If so, there is a Red/White Tool available from Stein and lots of other places. The tool breaks easily.

Get the red/white tool with the copper-colored (metal) inserts. You can often find all plastic versions (usually shipped along with a connector), but these barely work and not for very long.
