Thinning WEST epoxy

If you do thin the WEST epoxy, it looks like acetone is the best solvent and 4% to 5% is the amount to use.

Thanks for the many great suggestions. I used a bit of advise from everyone and got the job done. Mostly elbow grease, solvent, rags, & sanding did the trick. After thorough clean up, put a single coat of epoxy on the entire interior of the cowl, then painted with light gray high temp engine enamel. The self adhesive aluminum stuck like stink on you know what, and actually looks great. Much improved over the pink fiberglass streaked with oil.
