I'm about to join the line for a Thunderbolt engine but worry I do not understand the order form.
My intent is to go for mostly stock and put dual Pmags on (pending further evaluation in Oshkosh)
The order form offers:
-No Ignition, No Fuel System
-Dual Lycoming EIS Ignition, Airflow Performance fuel system
-Dual E-Mags Ignition, Airflow Performance fuel system
If I go no ignition and no fuel system, what do I end up doing regarding a fuel system?
When I read about the Airflow fuel system it seems to require air box modifications, which I think I want to avoid.
Additionally the engine comments state that a slick start booster system will be needed. What is this? Especially in light of P MAGS?
Once I order this engine, what is reversible vs not in terms of the electrical system? I'm debating waiting until absorbing OSH crowd wisdom...
Do blue, black, or red engines fly faster than Lycoming grey?
