Electrical and avionics failure mode testing

I perfomed some in-flight failure mode testing on the electrical buses and avionics in my RV-10. I tested the following scenarios:
Main/Aux buses off one at a time (simulated contactor failure or bus short)
Main/Aux alt fail with and w/o crossfeed
PFD fail
MFD fail
IFR navigator fail after loading approach

Everything worked as expected except when I turned off the Main bus, I lost ADSB traffic. The GTX 45R transponder is powered separately from both buses but its GPS source is the GTN 750xi. With the GTN powered off, I guess with the lack of GPS information, the GTX isn't able to provide traffic information to the displays since it doesn't know where it is? I see there is now a new version of the GTX 45R that has an internal GPS (mine does not) so that would be one way to mitigate it. I didn't notice the loss of traffic when I turned off the GTN by itself but maybe I just missed it.

For reference, here are the electrical schematics and avionics block diagrams:
