I am at the point 45A-09 and 10 where they want me to test the trim motor speed. Any advice before I energize the EFIS and the electrical system.

Don't let any smoke out of the wires! :D

Just turn things on one device at a time, so if there is a problem, you can localize it.

From recent experience with another builder: be very careful about polarity when hooking up the battery.
 
You can exercise the servo by connecting a 9V transistor radio battery across the terminals if you want to be sure it operates before you try it with the installed system.
