While re-install the canopy yesterday we made an error and broke a nickel sized chip off the edge of the fiberglass, along with another I would describe as a "large splinter". I have both pieces that broke off. Unfortunately I failed to get a picture before leaving, but attached here is a photo of where the pieces broke off.
Does it make sense to epoxy the broken pieces back in place, or should I tape off the top-skin and lay in all new glass/flox? What is the best way to approach a repair like this?
