ECHO ADS-B

Just send the altitude data you send to the 330 to the Echo directly if this data comes to your 330 as RS232 serial data. If the altitude data comes to the 330 as grey code, send the data out of the 330 to the Echo as RS232 serial data. Far more reliable than sniffing.

ADSB out is working great, but serial port 5 for ADSB in doesn’t work. The baud rate and source are correct on the GRT. GRT was very helpful at OSH . I had photos and their part seems correct. Could there be a loose connection from ECHO to serial port 5? I’m getting traffic on my IPad. Thanks

On the GRT Setup display, check "Serial Port 5 Input Counter" to see if it's counting up.

If not,
1. confirm that the baud rates actually do match
2. GRT serial port 5 is configured for ADS-B

If it's still not counting up, you may have a poor/wrong connection.

Also, on my GRT/ECHO system, the ECHO output "default protocol" is set to "GDL90".
