Dyon Threaded MAP sensor

Hi All----we heard a rumor that Dynon was transitioning to a Threaded MAP sensor, vs the old block style 'automotive' unit. I found this pic, but not being an avionics guy, I thought I'd ask. If this is true, then it would simplify some installs for us, especially where PMAGS and similar ignitions are used. 2nd pic is a 'concept' we've been playing with for mounting the legacy MAP sensor near the sender manifold, to make our installs cleaner.

You mean this one? Either way I think I'll postpone cutting the outboard end off the VA-168. (Maybe Van's should make a few more of those, for those who have cut off the outboard end.)

Edit: And it turns out that's the MAP sensor I'm getting with my AFS panel. So the rumor seems confirmed.

Based on someone's recommendation, I got the Garmin hose for this as part of my FWF hose kit. Do we need to talk more?

Hi Chip---Thats the info I was looking for. since the new MAP sender can be threaded into the 3rd port on the Va168, it matches our Garmin kit. This is going to simplify alot of things!!
Thanks--Tom
