We have a 2018 ESLA 12 that stopped for the night at our airport. While overnight on the ramp, there were moderate rain showers. On departure the next day, Sunday Morning, trim was in the full up position. Owner came back and landed.
We have established that the servo is good, by utilizing a 9-volt battery on pins 4 &5 at the servo. There is no trim movement when control stick trim switch is activated.
After adjusting servo, the trim indicator on the Dynon display showed servo in a different position.
Any thought of a failure point?
Note: I do not have any drawings except what I can get from Vans website.
