Dynon loosing GPS lock

Hi all,

Does anyone else w/ a Dynon panel have trouble with maintaining a GPS lock? I'm getting lots of Traffic Alerts that are erroneous callouts of my own plane, and am intermittently loosing GPS position completely. I suspect it has to do with temperature, as the symptoms are more noticeable in warm weather and when doing pattern work (low airspeeds, high power settings.). I'm using a SV-GPS-2020.

Thanks,

I think you may have two separate issues. ‘Own ship’ ADSB alerts are most often because the owner has incorrectly entered his registration number into the setup (some units require this in hexadecimal format, increasing the chances of a mistake). Intermittent gps loss is sometimes a poor antenna connection, or an interfering signal, etc. Check easy stuff first.
