The computer connectivity from the dynon support program is via a Dsub 9 pin connector that is also used to do system firmware updates and connect the DSAB network, in most cases the builder (like me) would make a pigtail with the connector and have it in the panel or tucked up behind the panel, I would check any documentation to see if that is the case, also do you have the wiring diagrams of your installation? You will also need a USB to Dsub cable to be able to talk to any modern computer, they dont all work so check the recommendation on the Dynon website. You will also need a driver for the cable and again not all the drivers work.
If you plan to continuously monitor data and download to the dynon support program then I would suggest mounting the Dsub in the panel if it is not already there.
Depending on what else is installed (D100, HS34) that is connected to the D120 bus there may be some procedural things you need to be familiar with when connecting to the port.
