Does this look right, or is the correct crank gear timing mark at the 5 o’clock position? Trying to help another RV owner by long distance.

If those two faint dots on the cam gear are the timing marks, then it looks right to me. I’m used to a bit more definition on the marks though!
 
Well, the gear alignment in the photo was NOT correct. The faint 0 at the 5 o’clock mark, on the crank gear, turned out to be correct.
The engine now runs great.
 
That doesn't look like factory markings on the crank gear. Looks like some one with a buzz box etcher did it free hand.
