Distance from floor to wing tigh down

Hi VAF

I am planning to weld a stand that will hold the jack to lift the airplane on one wing. As I am not at my RV-10 could someone please measure the distance from the floor to the lower wing surface where the hole for the tigh down ring goes in.

Kind regards
Michael

Michael, my RV-10 is still in way too many bits to measure this but I've just looked at it on CAD. The theoretical height from the CAD is 897mm but you'll need to subtract from that something for compression in the tyres, the wings not being perfectly level and a fitting in the jacking point.

Hopefully someone will be along soon with a real measurement.
