CT81F RV8 Rear Seat Throttle from Aircraft Spruce

Has anyone installed one of these rear seat throttle quadrants in their RV8? I purchased this single lever rear seat throttle quadrant from Spruce and I'm trying to figure how to install it. It looks like I will need to cut a 1" X 5-1/4" rectangular opening in the arm rest to install this throttle. I just want to be sure this is correct before I start hacking away.

I didn't install it, but this is what the one in my -8 looks like.

It was a lot of work, the worst part of it was drilling the holes through the posts to connect to the front throttle and getting the rod to not rub on anything.
