Cowl Flange Thickness Please?

Do you have a new cowl sitting in your shop? Do you have a micrometer or digital caliper? Can you tell me the thickness of the fiberglass at the firewall flange, please?

0.045 - .070, but on average about .054. (Inches)
Depends on what you are calling "new". Pink cowl.

Hey Dan-

I just measured mine. There were some outliers of .055-.080, but by and large, mine is about .075.

It's already trimmed to fit so the aft edge is about an inch or forward from its "as delivered" shape. I measured the top half and the bottom outside of the scoop area. I have piano hinges down both sides of teh lower so I couldn't check that area easily.

Here's another data point, cowl is a bit older from 2000, but still "new". It measures .060 to .070 thick around that edge.
